Wife of successful butter merchant T.J. Clanchy, her fashionable and elaborately decorated dress demonstrates her high standing in society. She had one daughter, Elizabeth, before her premature death. T.J. Clanchy subsequently married her cousin Ellen Slattery and a further five children were born.
