Lord Mayor of Cork and Mayor of County Cork Honour Susan MacCarthy Hallett and Families
On 21 August 2025, both the Lord Mayor of Cork and the Mayor of County Cork honoured Susan MacCarthy Hallett and her husband Ed and son William with presentations on behalf of Cork City Council and Cork County Council. The presentations honour their outstanding contribution to the archival heritage of Cork through the family's generous donation of the Daniel MacCarthy Glas archive collection to Cork City and County Archives Service.
